Data Controller (as it is defined in applicable privacy laws and regulations) is Mipro Group Ltd. Oy and its subsidiaries. Of these subsidiaries, Mipro Oy ensures that your personal data is being processed according to this policy, and applicable privacy laws are adhered to.

HOW WE PROCESS YOUR DATA
To the register of job applicants, we collect data that are necessary for the recruitment of employees and for creating an employment relationship. We collect to the register only such data that are necessary for the performance of each task that is available and applied for by the applicant. When you send us an open application, we will store in the register the data that you give with an open application about yourself. Collection of personal data is based on the consent of the job applicant. Data is processed by our personnel partaking in the recruitment, and possible third parties selected by data controller, such as aptitude testers. We process personal data to assess the suitability of job applicants and to select employees for Mipro Group Ltd. Oy’s and its subsidiaries open positions. Furthermore, we use personal data to take care and maintain communication between the job applicant and recruiters.
DATA TO BE COLLECTED ABOUT YOU
We collect to the register the data that you give about yourself in your job application. Data includes name and contact information, education and work experience information, and any other information relevant to the recruitment provided by you in your application.
Data is complemented with any additional data given by you in the job interview if it takes place, or data that is explicitly requested from you.
If you proceed in your applying process to the aptitude test, which will be arranged on the basis of your separate consent, the register will include data obtained from the possible aptitude test results. We receive these data from our partner who has organised the aptitude test.
HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA
We collect data for the register from yourself and with your consent from the recruitment partner in the connection of the aptitude test among other things.
If the job requires a security clearance or other clearances, we obtain data from the authors of these clearances with your consent.
DISCLOSURE AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is disclosed to the group companies for recruiting purposes, if you have given your consent to use your data in separate recruitments. In case of recruitment progressing to aptitude test, personal data is also disclosed to the third party facilitating the. Personal data is disclosed only to persons responsible for the recruitment.
Persons working in service and maintenance tasks of the job applicant register have access to the personal data of the job applicant register to the extent it is necessary for the service and maintenance tasks.
If your application results in an employment relationship, data relevant to the employment relationship are disclosed from the job applicant register to Mipro Oy’s employee register.
Your data is not disclosed for marketing purposes.
TRANSFERS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE EU OR ETA
Your personal data is, in principle, not transferred outside EU or ETA, unless it is necessary for technical reasons in order to process the data. In these cases, we ensure with necessary agreements that your rights and confidentiality of your data are protected.
AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING BASED ON DATA
Data collected to registry is not subjected to any automated decision-making or mining.
HOW LONG YOUR DATA IS BEING STORED
Data related to your job application is stored for 24 months after the application. In specific cases, it’s possible to store your data for longer periods – in any such case, your explicit consent is requested. You have right, if you wish, to request the removal of your data before the expiry of this period.
HOW YOUR DATA IS PROTECTED
Mipro abides by the obligation of confidentiality in its operations; every employee has signed a non-disclosure agreement at the time signing their employment contract. Access to systems containing information of job applicants is granted only to those employees whose duties include handling of the said information. User identifications to the systems are personal. Data are collected into data basis in separated networks that are protected by firewalls and other methods of filtering and managing the traffic. Systems, databases and their back-ups are located in locked and protected server premises, and access to them is granted only to persons assigned to their maintenance.
All possible non-digital information is stored in locked locations, with access only by individually entitled persons.
Personnel of the third parties (such as provider of the recruitment system and aptitude tests) has similar confidentiality contracts and security controls in place, and are committed to processing your data securely, with confidentiality, and only in order to produce the service.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to check at any time what data has been stored in the register of job applicants about you. If there are mistakes in the data, you have the right to have the inaccurate data corrected. You may also demand the deletion of the data before the defined storage time expires. If you want to make a request for inspection and/or correction or for deletion of your data, you have to send your request in writing, completed with your personal signature to the address:

Handling the requests is free, if more than 12 months have passed since last inquiry.
You have a right to file a complaint with a data protection authority about collection and use of your personal data. For more information, contact your local data protection authority.
