Mipro’s year 2021 began in full swing when DNV conducted our periodic audit on the 12-15 January 2021. This year, it was decided to extend the normally three-day evaluation as four days, as we have made significant updates to our quality management system during the year. This one extra day was therefore dedicated to going through the system.

The Helsinki Metro interlocking and ATS delivered by Mipro has passed the availability and reliability demonstration period and received final approval from The Customer. The final approval now granted concerns the original Helsinki metro section (East of Ruoholahti).
Mipro has successfully renewed the existing signalling system at the Kotka marshalling yard. The project, which began in 2018, was completed in November 2020 and fully covered the modernization of Hovinsaari and Asema traffic locations.

The leading Finnish trade magazine for railway technology ’Rautatietekniikka’ published in its December issue Mipro’s article describing their on-going project in Estonia to renew the signalling system on the Lääne-Harju track section.
Mipro Oy, the Finnish rail traffic safety specialist, is to renew signalling systems on the Estonian railways. The cooperation project with Eesti Raudtee will significantly improve safety on the busy Lääne–Harju track section. This agreement signals a strong start for Mipro’s internationalisation strategy.
